Fall semester at Ohio University I took a film photography class through the art college. I have to say the way artists look at creating photographs is so much different than what I've been used to in my commercial photography classes.

It's definitely been enjoyable and something I want to continue practicing. For me, creating an analog image from start to finish is such an interesting process. The results aren't as technically perfect, but there's so much more craft and labor into these photographs and I find that very enjoyable.

I've been developing C-41 color film in my bathroom recently. It's been working out better than I thought it would, and I'm getting interesting results with the disposable cameras I'm using. These things definitely have a certain look that I find nostalgic and charming.

At the end of summer, before my Junior year at Ohio University, I traveled back to NYC. I was looking for a reason to have some summer in the city and found an excuse when my friend Troy Covey needed a gaffer for a video shoot of his.

While I was there I checked out the Leica testdrive offering, and I took the M around Brooklyn.
